3Points Connect – Is Dementia the new Cancer?

The 3Points Connection Series is presented by 3Bridges. The theme for 2018 is Building Inclusive Communities. The outcomes that the 3Points Connection Series seek to provide include:

  • A purposeful connection with forward-thinking peers to build collaborative inclusive communities.
  • Models for sustainable social ventures that focus on solving wicked problems.
  • Opportunities to develop innovative partnerships between business and community.


- Kate Swaffer
CEO and co-founder of Dementia Alliance International, 2017 South Australian of the Year who was amongst the Westpac/Financial Review’s 100 Women of Influence. Kate will address the Stereotypes and Stigma Attached to Older Age and Dementia.

- Glen Sorensen
- Managing Director and Principal Consultant of Age Communications - ‘Creativity, Ageing and Community Connectiveness’

- Dennis Frost
Leader of the Southern Dementia Advisory Group, member of Dementia Alliance International and also the Inaugural Chair of the Southern Dementia Advisory Group in Kiama NSW. Dennis will talk about how Building Community Connections and Dementia Friendly Communities can help you in early stages of dementia. 

- Dr Haley La Monica
​The University of Sydney Brain and Mind Centre Project Synergy. Haley's topic is "What can innovation in communication technology and collaboration for Youth Mental health teach us about pathways to care?".
